yeah its low as hell i dont know if its 4 1/2 really but the tires are tucked under the fenders. all i can say is that those axles are strong as hell to be riding like that this hole time.

English anyone? j/k. It is usually recommended to swap axles as well. Anything routine maintenance is generally considered commonplace to replace when doing a swap as you never know how it was driven b4. But, it is all up to you.

I agree. If your going to do something, might as well do it right, stay safe and switch your axles out, it wont hurt anything, you may save money up front, but in the long run it will save you time and effort to go on ahead and switch your cv's out. Just my opinion.

So if you were to swap, you wouldn't change the plugs, wires, dizzy, water pump, timing belt, etc? Just about anyone that I know would. But ok.

unless they click, leave them alone. it seriously takes like 15 minutes to pull the axles out. it's more of a pain in the *** to get to the oil filter than remove the axles IMHO. with a jdm d15b you're not going to make 1000hp out of the box so your stock axles are fine.
