All ITRs had a "Rear Body Stiffener" on the back panel of the trunk, but the JDM ITRs also had a rear upper.

em racing makes awesome triangulated bars.. but, he might want a bar that he wont have to cut into the interior panels to install.. the itr rear strut tower bar is one of em..
those are a rare find these days... i got mine brand new from akhom on this board..

nowadays i leave the panels off for easy access to adjust the shocks...the little rubber lining came with the bar & hardware..

Got mine brand new in a Honda Access box. So yes, it is very real. Just hard to find used.

I think he may have just confused the USDM with the JDM ITRs....or probably never knew that the JDM ITR had one.

If the rear upper strut bar is a standard option on JDM ITR's, I didn't know that. I've heard that they were Honda Access options, but never saw proof of it, so I assumed it was just a rumor. So yea, my bad for being misinformed.

Ya know....even though this person was misinformed, I'm glad EVERYONE that posted so far took the tactful and polite approach in informing this person instead of running up in here being captain ******** about stuff like this. Kudos to you all.

And thanks BlueIntegraBoy and psychoticmindset for being polite yourselves. I tend to not post in H-T because I've seen tons of flaming. I'm still relatively new to the Honda scene (I've always been a Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda guy) and even newer to the JDM Honda scene. Thanks again you two.
its all good, we're here to learn and get more info and knowledge. I mean hell.....I'm sure no one in your school ran up in the classroom and called you a "******* dumbass" if you answered a question wrong right? So why should that happen here?
