Did DC Sports or Comptech make a Header for the US Spec Type-R Integras? Didn't the 96' JDM Spec Type-R Integra have a 4-2-1 header design? One more question, would it be a waste to run a USDM Type-R Header on my B18B1?

Yes, both manufactures make headers for the USDM ITR.

If you already have the manifold and you're bored, it can't hurt to swap them. However, it won't be worth the money if you have to pay for one, and I probably wouldn't take the time to do the swap unless I was looking for something to do one afternoon.

I don't think the usdm header would be a waste if you found one for around $100. If it were up to me, I would choose a usdm type r header over a dc header with 2" collector

The upper portions are exactly the same on the LS and ITR manifolds. The only difference is the lower halves, and the ITR's still isn't particularly free-flowing compared to an actual header. The collector on the ITR manifold is 2" OD, but with an even smaller diameter inner portion.
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a stock ITR manifold simply as a replacement for a damaged LS one, but if the intent is a performance upgrade, the DC will be the better performer, and will also provide approximately 15 lbs. of weight reduction over the cast manifold.

Definitely.

Yeah i'm using the stock cat, what if I wanted to upgrade my cat to a bolt-on cat to match the 2.25" collector, so it would be a 2.25" inlet and outlet cat, would it still fit since its a direct replacement bolt-on?

The collector is 2". You could upgrade the cat, and as long as the new cat was designed to bolt up to an LS or a USDM ITR, you'll be fine.

I thought only regular model Integras were 2" collector and the Type-R had a 2.25" and the JDM one has 2.5" collector? Thnaks for the info. The US Type-R DC SPorts header would be better than a LS DC Sports Header right. Cool.

All the USDM Integra models have a 2" collector. I have no experience with the DC Sports LS header so I cannot say whether the tubing sizes are different, but I'd imagine they're very similar, if not identical, so performance between the two should also be extremely similar.
