rebuilt motor and wont rev past 2krpms..(hondata)
alrigth last year my car was tuned with hondata..this year i decided to build the bottom end and now that its all put together it wouldnt let me rev past 2krpms..so the guy doin my work popped in my stock ecu and it ran fine but just really rich cause of the 440cc injectors...so its gotta be hondata or somethin..anyone have any ideas?? i got a 99 civic si..and everything esle runs fine

i had the same problem on a customers car one time.but it was right at vtec cross over.all we did was re flash the chip and everything worked perfect.i ask the tuner what could it be.he simply said it was one of those things that can out of no where just happen for no reason that is explainable.
