Default Put exhaust wrap on and I am very impressed.

For the record I made a post in another forum a few days ago but I just have to say I am very impressed with what a difference it made.

Today I really got a chance to see what it does. from 60-100 it now accelerates incredibly fast. Before the power would start to drop off but now it continues to make power all the way to the 8000rpm redline.

I guess with the wrap it can really just move alot more air. The temperature did climb really fast when I did a 0-120 launch. But it got to 120 way faster then it ever did before.

Now hopefully the manifold and downpipe don't crack for awhile.

You must have a sensative butt dyno to be sensing header wrap horsepower. Why don't you do some egt or engine bay temp comparisons instead o top speed runs and then report back your conclusions?

its not hp if feel but by watching my egt gauge i can see the higher temps . and also i am building boost quicker. and after an hour of driving i can feel the temp drop in engine bay. i have bumped into my full race mani and not gotten burned.

i'll try and find the link..i've read that usin header wraps is bad...it holds in the heat and will deteriorate the mani/dp/headers faster...if you want a long life from ur parts i would get them cermanic coated the temps will be just as good if not better...it's more eye pleasing and it will increase the life of the parts.....good luck

from what i have heard swain is much more based around racing ...just something to consider as opposed to Faa stuff which is a lot more expensive and often out of date given the times to certify things are so long
