I still havent swaped my engine so i still have my stock dual point fuel injected dx engine which runs really good only has 160 thousand miles on it and i did an all the oil changes and stuff. 2 days ago i was driving it and all of a sudden it jerked and shut off on me the check engine light came on! i tried to turn it on and it didnt so i called my boy because he knows all about that kind of stuff, first thing he said to do was check the ecu and it gave me a code 15 stopped for 5 seconds and a code 15 all over again. i pushed the car for about 2 blocks tried to start it and it did i had realy low gas so i pumped half a tank in and it was fine. 2 mins later shuts off again. at first i though it was distributor but once that goes it doesnt come back. later on about an hour later tunr it on and drive it again, same thing happens it shuts off i put it in neutral let it slow role for about a couple of blocks turn it on and it turns on. later in the day we open my radiator and check it no water what soever and its dry as hell so we put in some water to the top and thought that the problme might be becuase it was over heating even though both of my temp gauges didnt acuse it of over heating. so we let it sit turn it on and its fine drive for about a half hour nad it shuts off again. we check the oil and it was kind of low so we put some in let it sit turn it on again and later shuts off again. it has been doing that for the past 2 days. all i know is that my tail lights trun on all of them but when i hit the brakes they dont flash or go off so i have no brake lights all fuses are good im wondering if its a short somewhere that is causing the engine to shut off?????? Please help!
