Default Turbo cams

I'm getting ready to put the car down and begin the rebuild process.

I've done some searching and didn't find a whole lot on cam suggestions. A lot of people are suggesting using the stock ITR cams, but how much HP are they good for?

I know I'd need a cam profile with short duration and high lift. I see Crower has an application, but all I hear is about how their cams break and destroy motors.

Suggestions from the darkside?

Any idea when the stockers become the bottleneck?

I'd guess in the 450-500 whp range that a change of cams might make a difference.
You really should check with a few notable turbo shops for their professional opinions.

personally i'd stick with oem cams.. but heres a link to 600+ whp on itr cams.. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1069197.. from what i read gsr can provide for more midrange, at that much hp cams can make a difference, then again, do you care if you make 30 less hp or have to run extra psi of boost to compensate?

Rocket Motorsports M21X cams/valvetrain.

Here they are in a 2.0 at 19psi, clutch slipping badly, destroyed itself after this run.

Save the money, you can spend it better elsewhere. Stock GSR/ITR cams are good turbo cams. (as already mentioned)

My turbo motor was using GSR cams, going with at least an ITR intake this time around w/cam gear tuning.

Cortney Green (uglyasscivic h-t name) made a little over 800whp on his stock GSR cams I do believe and this is in a street car. Also I have seen over 600whp with stock ITR cams. Personally I would leave the stock cams in there myself cant get much better than that it seems when going turbo on the b series engines.

"This time around?" And here I thought you were going to leave 151 basically "stock".
