Oil is not getting to the head
Firstly, Oil galleys are just ported holes correct? On that note, I must have a blockage somewhere and thus i am going to take off the head in attempt to find and solve my low oil pressure in the head. Are there any "blueprints" for the H22 head that show the oil passages or does anyone have a significant knowledge of it. Has anyone every had to address this before? If so, was air pressure used to clear out the passages? Any help would be appreciated.
Low oil pressure can be caused by different things. I cant say anything for sure, I need more background.. symptoms, engine, how you know oil isn't getting to the head... etc
I have had it all checked and i have an oil pressure gauge attached to the head. The oil pressure in the block is okay, but the head's doesnt reach over 28-30 psi even in higher rpms. The oil pump is fine also. thanks

oil pressure is only supposed to reach about 7 psi at idle when measured at the vtec oil pressure switch.
