ok, here is the story. i have a 96 ek hatch that had a jdm itr motor and five lug.
i had it for 8 days them a drunk driver hit me and totaled it. now i have a 00 ek hatch and i did a complete swap over with my crashed ek. what i did not know until i did the swap is that i needed to change my wiring harness and use the 00 ek harness because its a obd2b harness and the one on the engine is a obd2a. do i have to take the motor back out to change the harness? and can someone tell me step by step on how to do the wiring on the ek harness? because i know it wont just clip right on the jdm itr motor. buy the way i was using a p28 with a jumper harness and an apex vtec controller and i had to buy a obd2b-1 jumper for the ek hatch.

 

Use the harness from your old swap....on, and you will not be able to smog it anymore just so you know.

 

thats what i was using but its a obd2a and my car is a obd2b.
