just a quick question

i drive a 99 civic ex coupe (ej8 chassis) and i was wondering how would it look to just paint the stock side skirts? they don't have the shiny coat on em and I was wondering how would they look if I gave them a full paint job. any comments or suggestions? my car is pretty clean so i wouldn't paint the body. but then again its 6 years old and would scratches from dust, rocks etc. not make the body paint match the side skirt paint?

 

Would look hella better. How did you plan on painting them? Rattle can or sprayer?

 

if you sand, put primer, paint, and clear, it iwll have the car gloss. but white is hard to match if you are using spray cans. my red didnt match

 

if you get them professionally painted they will look good. i got mine painted and it looks 100% better than it did.

that or spray em flat black

 

well i wanted the shiny finish on em. my cars black so painting black wouldn't be hard. i guess just a regular can of spray paint would work for now.

 

if i went to a pepboys or autozone, what kind of flat black spray can paint should I look for? any certain kinds?
