Default How much more weight with a B16 swap?

Does anyone know how much weight will be added to the car when a b16 replaces a d16 (y7, if it matters)? I did read all through this thread https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1 and it does state the weight of a built short block for the B16 vs D16, but it wasnt the entire engine/head/tranny or the total weight added to a car.

I'm asking to see how much weight is added and how much the front of the car would drop when putting in the b16. I have pretty hefty spring rates in the front as of now. spring rates are front= ~560(10K) rear= ~450(8K).

it should be roughly 80-100 lbs more(like the b18 you won't really notice the extra weight compared to a H22). that spring rate is more then enough for the b16. hell that's good enough for the H22 swap.

thats good to hear. I dont wanna fuss with the coilovers so I'm hoping there will be no height change. the car sits right at the tire so anymore and it would suck cause of rubbing.
