its a 99 accord coupe v6

i need a distributor or perhaps just the igniter unit... i've been on hondaautomotiveparts.com and they had three options for the "emission and transmission type" which are KA4AT, KA5MT, and KL4AT.... i'm not sure which one my car falls into or does it matter? its an automatic if anyone wants to know. and should i get a new distributor or jsut get the igniter unit? help!

why do u need ignitor??? car not starting ???

 

I believe to codes you gave will be needed to procure the proper parts. The codes break down as:

KA4AT = Federal Emissions (49 states) 4 spd Automatic
KA5MT = Federal Emissions (49 states) 5 spd Manual
KL4AT = California Emissions, 4 spd Automatic

yea.. there is no spark to ignight the plugs so eh... thanks P_Adams so its gona be the KL4AT since I am in california.. but do i really need to replace the entire distributor? or just change the igniter ?

 

IF, the same holds true for the V6 as it does for the I4, Honda has made proviso's for replacing just the ignitor.
