There are companies, like JG, that make sheet metal manifolds as well. There are also companies that will modify a stock manifold, like Blacktrax. You just need to decide what your power goals are, in what portion of the band you want more oomph, then find the Manifold that will help you get that. Most of the Manifolds (Euro R, Skunk 2, modified stock Mani) will provide peaks at certain points due to their design. The advantage to a sheet metal manifold is that it can be built to meet your specific goals using runner length and plenum size.

I have yet to see any reason to believe that the S2's "da ****" on stockish motors or even highly built ones... I have however seen that the Euro R with slight modification does pretty well on stock and built motors.

I never did a before and after w/ the manifold, but if you compare my setups w/ others you'll notice that I carry power upwards of 8000rpm while very similar setups on the stock manifold only carry power to around 72-7500.
