im finally done with my 12inch enclosed speaker project. and yes i did use MDF wood. im just in the matter of seeing how its gonna sound. it almost has like 1 FT. of air space.... should that be good enough for my speaker? its 1 FT.1/2 box all around, just to let you guys know.

MDf is definitely the best way to build a box. also for everyones who is worried about weight. Local building supply places should be able to supply you with "lightwieght" MDF but at a premium....but if weight is a issue than it is well worth it.

Another option to the 3/4" stuff is just use 1/2" MDF...I used it for two tens and it sounds great. you didn't say anything about what you wanted to put in it but check the box it came in to find how big the ernclosure should be and then make your dimensions to fit the space you want to put it in and the totla volume recommended for the sub. I used wood glue and screws to hold it together and silicone on all of the joints to make it airtight. Hope that helps
