Might be a blown headgasket. Is the gunk in the coolant reservior a brownish sludgy color?

is the motor in the car and is the car driveable?

is your car over heating?

you got smoke coming out the exhaust?

do a search on blown headgasket and read the symptoms of having one

Coolant in the oil indicates that one of the oil passageways in the head gasket hes been broken. Unless of course you put the coolant in the wrong hole which I highly doubt.
