92-95 Civic Spoon Mirrors on 88-91 Civic EF/EG ***PICS***
Okay, so yall want spoon style mirrors for you 4th gen but hate the 4th gen specific ones? grab some 5th gen ones and trim in like only 3 places and get em to fit.
was really easy, just required removing 2 of the mounting holes on the bases, a small amount of trimming and they fit like a glove!!!

yes, the car is a mess but hell I havent driven it all week

How about you do a write up like where to cut and show pics of it? Instead of just trim 3 places, i mean it's not rocket science to figure it out but hey some people might need instructions.
. i dont like how they stick out from the body... i like how my mirrors are flush with the window...
but
for trying something new...

defintly looks cool from a distance i think i would have to see it inperson. Otherwise looks cool
they could for sure use some more trimming...but I'm lazy, I dont care and meh...sure beats the hell out of the other way using some oil pan plastic as bases...for a 10min project its more than I coulda asked for

I like the lip on your car--that isn't the factory lip, right? What is it and is it made of urethane? Let me know looks
I hate HATE *HATE* those mirrors.
They are completely and utterly useless!
Visibility is AWFUL and adjusting them is even worse! They're just plain dangerous. Get it over with, shave the mirrors alltogether and just glance over your shoulder. Works just as well.

honestly visibility isnt that that bad, but it is for sure down a couple notches from a stock mirror...as for my lip, THEY are stock its the 90Si lip on the bumper and then a 89 teg lip under that so they are doubled up giving a deeper lip

what I really wanna do would to get the OEM side mirror delete plate...I know there is a usdm one for the passenger side but now, is there a jdm one for the driverside?
and after a day of driving they are fine visually, just aim em correctly and ur good to go

i bought the tyc ones they are of higher quality and you can actually see out of them, they only make them for a ef hatch, but you just need to file down a little on backing plate to fit crx
