Weird Vibration
I have a 90 Hatch with an LS in it. And I am getting a loud vibration from the left side of the car. I replaced the upper control arms on both sides. I just put in a new clutch n flywheel. And it still does it. What could this be? Maybe something with axles can cause this problem? It comes and goes depending on how I drive. I mean some times it shakes a tad bit.. sometimes real violently.. or just not at all. I mean I can feel it sometime when I hit bumps when I go up it comes back and back down goes away. Some please help me.
might wanna check your engine mounts i had a 88 crx with an LS motor car started to vibrate had same syptoms you are having it- resulted in a loose motor mount just my .2

It's obviously something in the suspension (at least that's what I would assume). I had vibrations caused by my LOWER balljoint. I found out the cause when the alignment place said the lower joint had too much play. That gave me some excessive vibrations. Don't have any experiences to share other than that, maybe it's of some use? If not, just double check for the vibrator! Haha, just kidding.

Well yes it did this before clutch and all that. I replaced the upper joints cuz the alignment place told me there was place. My lower joints are good no play. The mounts are tight. I took out the motor as well when I replaced the clutch so. Everythings tighten good.
More than likely your hub bearing is bad if it gets loud when you speed up and goes away when you slow down. I would check your hub bearings I have gone through the whole situation before.
if the vibration is just under braking, then you might have warped rotors, or rotors with uneven metal density from being over heated. either way getting your rotors turned is cheap and could fix your problem, but only if its under braking.
and just in case.. did you get an alignment after you replaced the control arms?
