good one next the the bad one. from all angles, the brown tip is almost completely broken off, except for one small triangle that can be seen best in the second pic.

 

It will probably function properly, but won't seal like it should and will most likely leak.

 

that is the pintle cap if i am not mistaken. it is supposed to protect that little needle thing if you ever drop it.
that needle affects the spray pattern of the injectors.
just break off all the peices that could potentially fall into your motor and it should be fine.
one of mine has been like that for about 2 months now, no problems no leakage. but it should be replaced whenever you have the chance.

 

just running these in the meantime to diagnose a problem, dont want to create a new one! thanks
