The Great EF Build
Well it all started in Janruary when filled with wonder I made my trip to Denver Colorado to pick up my 1991 CRX DX. When we got it home I drove it for the first time and relized that I was in love... the crx was so fun..
Shortly after that however i learned that i was burning oil fiercly. I then decided that it was time for a motor swap.
Now because this is a DD i wanted a good strong engine with some get up and go but i still needed the 45 miles to the gallon taht i was getting from my DPFI D15B2. So I then Contacted HMO and they recomended me a D16Z2. The Euro Version of the A6. Putting down 114 HP and 105 Ft. lbs of Tourque I thought this was for me. So I got my engine and did my MPFI Swap and we got the Engine running.
Since then I have put a CAI on it with a K&N Filter. and a 2 1/4 inch exaust system with a new CAT. and a 4-2-1 ceramic OBX header
Now i will focus on the appearence so i bought some EK side skirts. I will be taking off the crx sides and door skirt and modifying the ek sides to fit the crx and i purchased a volvo lip. I will be putting 15" 99-00 Civic SI wheels on it. and the paint will be a nifty concaction.

The interior will be Black/Red yes for u ricer haters it will be painted and will have sparco seats.
Lastly my system is all rockford. i have 6.5 rockford panel speakers all around and 2 10" rockford punch subs with a 600 watt rockford amp. and a pioneer DEH 5600 headunit

Everybody is entitled to their own taste, but those taillights really are over done dude. I got a set of TYC Elegante and I love them , LOVE THEM. And they are fairly rare, dont leak, and can be paint matched to the body.... just a suggestion...

don't listen to that fool. Your car has the little bro paint code of the reds. I say, get rid of the lights, OEM. Don't mess with the dash, only in this instance does the phrase, "once you go black you won't go back" apply. You'll kick yourself in the *** once you **** up the interior. But other then that, keep on rockin' out with your **** out bro. And **** those ******** who think h-t is full of haters, we just have a selective taste of reverything BUT rice.

whatever you want to do, do it. Now as for the rest of us...when he ends up totalling his CRX in afew months ours will be just that much more rare.
Thats what i keep telling myself. Before you know it the JDM trend will be dead (like the ricer trend), and we will all start doing another trend. Who knows what but either way my car is staying how I want it to be

The thing about JDM is at least you can sell the thing after because the parts are stock... no ugly interior paint that doesn't match... new buyers having to swap out all the interior panels to convert it back to stock etc.
this is the worst thing to do if you ever plan on selling it if you ask me

okay if ur just gonna come in here and bitch about what I AM Doing to MY car then stay out of my thread. its my car and i'll do what i want. i don't care if the ****** paint is gonna turn toxic and make me inhale poison fumes. just shut the **** up about the paint.
