I have a boosted 90 integra with a b16a. Looking for a gsr block. What tranny would be best suited for potentially 650 hp. Was thinking a itr tranny or even a gsr, but not really sure.

so, are you putting the b16 head on the gsr block? i'd say run the itr tranny you can't go wrong with that. but the gsr and tranny are similar except for the lsd and the final gear. but the lsd would help you lay the power down to the ground.

If you are planning on boosting 650 hp, when do you plan on having max boost? That is a lot of horsepower so you would need a big turbo (longer time for the turbo to spool) I might say get and ls and put lsd in it because it has taller gears.

not trying to start anything but that's kinda strange how you say you're gonna have a 650whp honda but not know what tranny to put on it?!? don't tell me you're one of those rich kids who throw money at people to have them fix it up for ya. it's either that or you're bsing.

either way, the tranny you decide on depends on your driving and powerband. but if i had 650whp i would definately get an LS tranny, just because with that much power you can definately use the longer gears. anything under 500whp and i'd go with a B18C1. that's just how i would do it.
