gsr cluster into ek, tach probs

Default gsr cluster into ek, tach probs

tried to searched this, i installed an 95 gsr cluster into my 99ek. evrything works except when i reach 6,000rpm, the tach wud drop down, would i need to run a separate wire from the dizzy 2 the cluster? i got a 97b18c if that helps

highly unlikely koz i came off my teg and i tested it on my buddys teg and it doesnt do that

I would check your connections.

I didn't have to do any 'extra' wiring when I swapped a ls cluster in my 98.

check all the connections too, everythings good, check the voltage for the tach signal, itl only go up to about 10ish volts then the gauge wud drop,
