brake problem
i have a 92 si and the brakes work normal almost all the time but randomly the pedal will start going down to the floor and ill have to pump it. it mostly happens when it has been running for a while. i think there is air in the lines and they need to be bled but in not sure. any sugg would be helpful

If you hold the pedal down, while the car is just sitting, and it just continues to sink to the floor - your master cylinder is going bad.
If you think there might be air in there though, for whatever reason, dont hesitate to just try that first. If that doesnt work, its probably the mc.

Re: (92hatch1)
Sorry if this is unnecessary, a quick and easy way to get air out of your lines if crack the valves one at a time until brake fluid slowly drips out, as it drips tap the exposed part of the brake line; as to collect the excess bubbles. You will be able to see the air bubbling out. Remember to do this from the furthest to closest caliper from the m/c. RR, RL, FR, FL.
