Stupid ass shop???
Hey, i have an n/a b18 and i got a edelbrock intake manifold installed with a bbk 70mm tb and when the shop installed it they said that 2 sensors could not be installed with it. one is the vacuum sensor that mounts on top of the throttle body and the other sensor is on the back of the intake manifold. and the guy doesnt even know what its called, but its vacuum controlled also. now when they try to start the car the check engine light comes on, and it runs very rough. It also has larger injectors and he said it was caused by running too rich. i also have hondata but it dit the same with it plugged in or unplugged. I also have a fpr and wondered if i could use that to make it run leaner by turning the pressure down. right now its at about 45psi at idle. I know its alot of info and any help would be great. i paid alot of money to get this stuff installed and it's pissing me off that he doesnt know whats wrong. thank you

he said that the map sensor was plugged in. it was a long thing with a tube on it. it almost looked like there was a little hydraulic arm in it. it had 2 holes where it went into the manifold about the size of quarters

so i found out one of the part names is the throttle valve dahspot controll diaphram. this is no longer hooked up. is this needed?
and the hose to the fuel pressure regulator control solenoid valve is disconected. but i do have a fpr so does the hose go to that?
ok, and the last part that he didnt put in was the fast idle thermo valve. Is that needed either?

i think your talking about the IAC (idle air control) valve...yes you need that for it to idle properly. why isnt it on the new IM edelbrock makes all thier **** OE compatible. thats why i do all my own work and i wont let anyone touch my ****.
