i just bought an integra radiator for a 94-01 integra, and am hoping it would fit my stock 96 ek with just a d16y7, but am hopping if that fits, that when in 4 months when i get a b series, that will fit too, im going to keep na thanks

It will fit, you just need to move one of the bottom holders over, or zip ties are your best friend as well. It will fit alot better with the B series because the B series hoses are bigger.

theres no need for an integra size radiator just because your going b-series you could use your stock one or just get a high perf civic one.

Then why did my car overheat with the stock radiator and then when I switched it out for the integra sized radiator it worked just fine?

 

im not sure thats kinda weird ive had a gsr in my hatch never had that problem and now i have a b20 with the gsr head and im still not having that problem maybe you should try a different thermostat

could be many different reasons but none the less there is still no need just look at the 99-00 si

 

all of you who say its not worth it, just think how stupid it is when my car over-heats, when i could have bought a koyo for 130, and have it keep my car cooler, even look better in the engine bay, and have a little more performance, a cooler car is a better car.......

 

Well if you want to get technical Napa's specs for radiator size show that the 99-00 radiator is 1/4" narrower than the 92-95 si radiator so there is definately no need for a teg radiator in a civic with a b series swap.

 

yeah you nub i have a b18c in my ej civic with stock radiator and my motor never overheats as it revs to 9000.... did it ever occur that maybe you had a problem with that radiator instead of you should just get a bigger one??????

 

try a delsol dual core radiator. works perfectly with water wetter. on boost, the temps are much cooler than a stock ek radiator. u can get a big one from koyo for the bling factor. i perfer the stock approach thoguh.

whats the difference between the del sol dual core and just a regular civic radiator

 

okay dude, why would i buy a radiator for even more, that doesnt cool my engine off as good, and i would have a better chance to overheat, when i can buy a bigger radiator for LESS, and have better cooling, i think im not the dumb/noob here.....

 

nobody said its not worth it. i want a koyo integra radiator for my ek but not because it needs it, but rather because i like the looks. lose the hostility.

no one is saying that he shouldn't have gotten it simply because he didnt need it at all. were disagreeing that he needed it to STOP HIS CAR FROM OVERHEATING.

So the del sol has a radiator that is 1" thick, and is the half style like in a normal civic. I have a 94 with a turbo kit, and I have been having overheating problems. If I could put in a del sol rad instead of buying an aluminum bitch i would be very happy. More info please.
