Thanks man...I was wondering what benefits I would get from going to a b16 tranny??? The reason I got that engine is cause I want to boost it but I have to wait t'ill next summer (finnishing school this year $$$$ LOL)

a b16 tranny and some crower 403s or id even suggest crower 402s that way you can leave them when you boost next year the b16 tranny will make a huge difference in acceleration due to its shorter gear ratios and the cams would help alot for midrange power

i ran 15.4 in a eg with just i/h/e so i think your right where you will be with times in the 1/4.this was a rebuilt to stock block and head i say 140hp(stock i/h/e doesnt need a tune or dyno)
As for the b16 tranny...i have the stock ls trans and i can do the 1/4 without going into 5th.i did boost my stock ls and put 250whp(10psi with 14b setup) down and ran 14,s with 13inch steelies and shitty allseason tires.A boosted basic bolt ons ls with 250hp or 7to 13psi depending on turbo size will be a 13sec1/4 car all day may run high13s or low but still not bad

you had 250whp and were running 14s
you should have been doing low 13s
