Default really hard to shift 90 accord, clutch?

my 90 accord i just bought really cheap is hard to shift, and when sitting at a light with the clutch pushed in, it acts like its gona die unless i take it out of gear, almost like im letting the clutch out slightly without and gas applied. also when i push the clutch in and out you can hear loud creaking. the car runs quieter and better with the clutch pushed in and in nutrual.

now my 1st un-educated guess is the clutch is F'ed, but i was thinking, when i do jam it into gear the clutch holds fine, there is vibration though, i was thinking could it just be my shift linkage or maybe a throw out bearing or somthing?

o ya, by hard to shift i mean, it looks like im fighting somthing in my car when im trying to get it into gear, and sometimes it even grinds a little with the clutch pushed in all the way.

i'm just trying to figure out if its just the clutch, or not even the clutch but my shift linkkage or both or both and somthing else like slave cylinder or some chit

replace the clutch kit......disc, plate, bearing and resurface the flywheel

I was thinking you might want to check the clutch master cylinder fluid level, and take a peek under the dash to see if there is any leakage.

First thing I would do is check clutch fluid level then go from there.

i found out today (supposeably) the previous owner had a clutch installed recently, but it was not aligned correctly, what are the chances it still usuable?

i mean, i only drive this car when i have to but its really hard, jamming into gears, grindin somtimes, cant even get it into gear often... just replace it even if it is almost new?

what do u mean not aligned correctly...........if disc is not aligned meaning it is off to one side or the other tranny will not go in cause the disc slides in the output shaft so if tranny is in car clutch alignment must have been ok ..otherwise they could not have installed tranny ..
i would chk all the hydraulics components make sure it is bled . make sure all the linkages are hooked up properly .if all ok i am afraid is is time to pull tranny out and see what is going on

ya i guess that makes sence, well if it did have a new clutch, which the more i look around the more it looks like the tranny was removed some what recently.. so know im kinda thinking it may be somthing other then, or a combination or somthing else and the clutch that need to replace.

i found this which seems not right, maybe a bleed fitting or somthing thats wide open? and the arrow on the left points to a empty threaded hole...

i was driving the car recently, cause i had too, i went to put it in 2nd, all the suddent i just hear kind of a sqealing whizzing sound, and the car feels like its in Nuetrual, and its never drivin sence, it makes that noise and doesnt drive in any gear now..

bump - just trying to get some ideas if there could be somthing else besides the clutch to blame before i pull the trans and replace the clutch to find something is still wrong.. could it be the actual transmission or shift fork or somthin? i find it wierd the my clutch was hard to shift, then all the sudden its like the car is in nutrual no matter what gear its in... i do hear a slight noise when in a gear but thats it, my shift linkage all seems ok

i dont know alot about clutchs but i dont know what could have happen to it to make it totally not work..
