Is that why Rockford doesn't make head units anymore?

newbie, that radio is made by denon. the original retail price of that radio is over $1000.
this radio was never originally released to the public. RF felt there was no market for such an expensive high end deck.
so please, before you talk ****, at least know what youre talking about.
just so you know, nakamichi here in the states is not the original nakamichi. nakamichi usa is a different company from the original nakamichi japan.
also, if you sent your deck into nak to fix the CD playback problems most of them had, expect to wait at least 6 months. i have also heard that some people never saw their radio again.

i like the jvc ar5500 has a ton of colors and its touch screen and u can use memory sticks whis is sick in my mind..never able to skip when your mashing in your car....and its touch screen
I never had any of the playback problems with my cd45z that they were supposed to be plagued with and I found it to be a great little deck for the buck. I rock a Sony CDX-C90 now though anyways
Ohh and the Nak amber is pretty close to the color your going for.

You really know alot about NAK........ Well did you know this little factoid. Nak did not build their own tape or cd mechanisms. In fact, their first couple of tape mechanisms (TD-1200MKI-III) Were build by soundstream. Then those engineers from soundstream ent to work for Nak USA.....where in fact all the Good Ole Tape and CD Mechs were built. Nak is no longer what it used to be, along with alot of the other, used to be high-end audio companies out there. Face it, these days people compare stats on paper and buy from the internet. The days of high-end sound/listening rooms are going out the door.
