when the needle on my gas gauge is on empty, the fuel light isn't on and when i fill up my tank it only takes 9 gallons. so what could be the problem? thanks.

 

you have a 10 gal tank, you have 1 gal left

 

same problem when on empty fuel light doesnt come on.
so the tank holds 10 gallons? do you know how much exactly? ive gotten up to 10.5

the light could be burned out and check your wires/plugs going to the tank - usually under back seat

yep seems like your bulb is burnt. happens alot
