97 ex. Speedomoter jumps?

97 ex. Speedomoter jumps?
alright guys, gotta problem . . .
when the cars been cranked up recently and I accelerate my speedomoter will jump briefly . . .. but usuallly this will only happen that one time or twice @ the most. Any ideas what this might be?
The rpms dont jump, just the speedomoter.

mine was doing the same thing i looked at the plug and it was all corroded i judt cleaned it with some contact cleaner and it fixed the prob hope this helps
