Default f22b2 swap into a 88-91 crx si

hey guys i just picked up an f22b2 sohc non-vtec engine from my buddies wrecked accord for free. its got 130 hp and 139 torque and its a 2.2 so its deff. an upgrade from my stock 1.6 si engine. I need to know if its been done, what i will need from the accord (the accord was auto, the crx is manual) what i will need from the junkyard and so on. i am new to this, this will be my first swap so just try and help me out with this, pics wont hurt and dont tell me to just go h22 or b series cuz i dont have intention to. thanks

i have never heard of anybody wanting to swap in an accord motor.... im shure it can be done.. but ive never seen it done...

you are going to need a flywheel clutch 5 speed manual tranny thats cable or hydro with mount kit and cable to hydro from ha sport... i think that you will just need mounts for the h22 into your car... but again like i said i have never seen it done so i dont know if it will be an easy swap but... good luck

I remember a pretty famous drag racer uses that same engine in his CRX. Can someone chime in and give more info about it?

EDIT I did find one real quick. I remember seeing a couple others before, another one was a yellow drag car...

Hmm..I think DA axles will work.
Everything else other than that...will have to be custom. There's not a mount kit available to the public yet for H series, let alone F.

You really dont want to be putting that motor in. Its not a direct bolt in and makes crappy power, dont waste your time.

The F22 uses the same mounts as the H22. Do a search for the H22 swap and that will show you what to do. Its not easy, you will need to do some custom fab work.

This is the guy that was running one in a CRX all motor and running high 9s.

He was using the D-series tranny with an adapter plate that he made. I think he was selling these at one time.

you can also get and h2b adapter ($$$) and mount that sucker to a b series tranny. But good luck with the swap. Take some pics.

i might not do it but my buddy has 2 complete 94-97 accords with the f22b2 in both and a 5 speed tranny in one of them and auto in the other so it seemed like it would make since to do this swap since i have 2 free engines and parts cars out of the deal... starting to not look so good though, do you guys know how much the tranny and the engines would prolly sell for if i pulled them and parted it out
