just wondern how hard it is to pull a dash, mine is grey, want to go with black... hit me up... peace

 

not to hard was easy to gut my friends

 

6 bolts you need to remove:

1. 2 under the side dash covers
2. 1 near the hood latch
3. 1 behind glove box on the right
4. 1 under the top vent
5. 1 behind ashtray console

Parts that need to be removed:

1. Glove box
2. Panel above driver's leg + metal plate thingy
3. Radio
4. Ashtray console
5. Drop the steering column

Wiring harnesses:

1. Remove the three plugs from the fuse box to make dash removal easier
2. Disconnect the two climate control plugs from behind the ashtray console

Now pull your dash out. You'll have a cluster/dash switches and climate control subharnesses that are going to be removed from your dash and placed onto the new dash if you didn't get the subharnesses. Installation is just backwards. Took a friend and me 20 mins to remove his dash.

 

Ya, I've removed my dash so many times it literally takes 10mintues.

With two people, you'll be done in 20-30 min cause it's your first time.


Dropping your steering column is 4 bolts. Not as bad as it may seem.
