Why is my steering wheel still shimmying
My steering wheel shimmys pretty bad wether I'm going 15 or 60. I replaced the brakes, got my wheels balanced, put on new axles and boots, new wheel bearings, did my alignment and I put stock suspension on my car which improved a littlebit. But it still shimmys. Any idea what it is?!
Does it "shimmy" during acceleration/brakeing or just crusing???
What about during turning??? Any difference their?
What tires are you running??? Anything like all season or winter tires with bad wear?
Bad rack n pinion maybe??? cause u replaced alot so far

Definatly check your calipers, as one or both could be grabbing. Jack the car up and make sure the tire is off the ground. Wiggle the tire back and forth, if you feel any play at all, you need to wheel bearings... possibly the hub.

Mine had a minor shimmy to it one day I pop the hood and noticed that I was missing all three bolts for my transmount. Have no idea how in the hell it happened but that was my proplem.
