Default Throwing Code 19 and idling funny: Searched 10pages

OK, I only found 1 good thread while searching. The dude was using an auto ecu after a b16 swap and he was throwing code 19: Automatic transmission lockup control valve.

I have a manual z6, but don't know what ecu, the previous owner said it was a p28, but maybe it's for an auto. Also, he had removed the CEL bulb from the back of the cluster, must have had the same code. Is that why I'm getting the code?

Also, I replaced the longblock, cuz the old one was shot when I got the car, and now it idles funny. It never shuts off on me, but it ranges from about 700-1500 when warm. If it stops idling funny it usually stays at 1000. Anything to check? The previous owner had those mini air filters on the sri and the valve cover, I however am running the hose from the sri to the valve cover, could this be why???

damn guys thanks for the help :sarcastic:

Naw, but JDMLyfestyle told me it's because I have an ECU for an automatic. Seems right, and it matches my searched thread above. I'm gonna have to check it out and if so get me a replacement.
