Default codes 10,23,41 but still have vtec help?

ok here some info i have a 96 hatch with a 96 ITR swap using the ex harness. having problems some times when i start the car it dies and takes a like 3 secs to get it rev up to 800 and I'll step on the gas and it will blog so i just wait thats just some back ground. I never thought anything of it i just start it once or twice, most of the time just once. anyways I was working late and went on a break and checked my codes just because. I knew that i was throwing 41 because i need to wire the second o2 sensor.

Here is my question why do i still have vtec if my throwing the knock sensor? I think the sensors are going bad, I still have the old knock sensor from my d16 will that work? any advice on how to fix. I don't know anything about wiring though but i change parts like it cool.

I know a code 10 is IAT sensor, you're running an ITR right?, it's the plug on the right of the throttle cable bracket, make sure you're using the right plug, I'm running a jdm b16 sir2 w/ itr mani and throttle body so you might have an extra plug that doesn't go anywhere in the harness but both plugs can fit the IAT sensor just fine (just make sure it's the right plug and you're not throwing a code 10 no more), as far as the other codes, I don't know wtf they are and I'm too lazy to check, make sure you have the map sensor hooked correctly and the evap should have two lines not connected to any thing, IACV must be hooked up correctly and the coolant lines should be hooked up also. I had my map sensor on the firewall and had to re-route it to the map sensor connected on the throttle body.. there's also a vacuum line that supposed to go on the throttle body but the ITR doesn't have a vacuum fitting for it, I've heard they're in the back of the intake mani but you're fine not running that vacuum line. all the problems you've said might just be sensors on your intake mani, if I'm wrong.. I'm wrong hope it helps.

those codes will not disengage Vtec to answer your other wuestion, thats why Vtec still activates. I know The KS is universal for B-series but from D to B i couldn't tell you ....bump for a concrete answer

oh yea, check if you're knock sensor is plug'd correctly and if not check your ecu, brown/white wire I believe? I forget.. but check if it's connected properly if you hacked it w/ your ex harness, what happened w/ mines is that my pin is all fucked and I had to make it work by forcing it, anyway.. I wouldn't really know I'm pretty sure you're plug is good though why wouldn't it be?
