Default DTC`s

hey guys whats up well i went to pep boys got me an obd2 scanner and i got these codes on my 98 honda accord

p0420
p1457(this code was repeated and at the said of it it said PD not sure what it meant by that)

anyone have any idea on where i should start first, b/c i have to do an inspection in 10days, and plus at autozone i cleared the code and it didnt come on back for a couple of drives, so am thinking to go clear the codes, drive it to the gastation i normally go to for inspection and have them inspected, do yall think thats a good idea, and then after that i can work on my problems???

p0420 is a Catalytic convertor code. Your going to need a new one.

p1457 is a evap leak. Sometimes it can be caused by a loose or aftermarket fuel cap. occasionally a evap canister will have a leak too.
