going my auto to 5 speed swap finally and took apart the trans to make sure everything was good. Which it was but i have to take out the main shaft assimbly and i need to know how to get it out of the lower or main larger housing ???

i need to get htis done asap please help

i think the clip at the back has to be expanded and it will pull is there anything else that i don't know about or a certain trick that makes it easier thanks

You mean you can't get the housing apart? There is a clip that needs to be expanded. Look for bauley's ITB thread, it goes through the whole process of taking everything apart and puting it back together.
