Ok, weird question. Girlfriend's car is a 90 accord ex with retrofitted r134a ac. With the ac running only the far passenger side a/c vent is blowing cold while the rest blow normal outside air. Any ideas? I unscrewed a metal seal on the evaporator (at least I think thats what it is) and it blows freezing cold air, but still just warm air from the other vents. I don't own a service manual for the car so even if you got a link to download one that would help alot.
thanks in advance.

I dont know if the 90 accord is like this but my 89 legend has this. On the drivers side there is a slider on the dash about an inch or 2 below the drivers side vent. If that slider is in the hollow circle (looks like an O) position that vent is set for ventilation mode inother words it is set up to draw in outside air, the other position is for A/C mode and it should be a solid circle. Same goes for the middle vents there should be a switch in the middle of them with a white arrow and a blue arrow, white is outside air and blue is A/C. I hope this helps your problem.
How cold is the passanger side vent even getting ? That vent is the first spot the Air blows from the Condensor/blower fan, so its naturally going to be colder. You might think its cold but it could be 50 degree air and the AC system isn't even functioning properly. I own a 94 2 door Coupe, and I always just thought my AC was weak, needed to replace my expansion valve.
