Default code 15 searched...wont start

the car is a stock dpfi 91 std hatch. the problem is the car starts up and runs fine when the engine is cold, but after it runs for about 10 minutes and the engine gets hot, the engine suddenly dies, with no sputtering whatsoever. the ecu gives me a code 15. i checked for spark and noticed that the engine wasnt getting spark which makes sense because code 15 is ignition output signal. i put a new coil and igniter in the distributor as well as cleaned up most of the wiring connections, but the problem hasn't changed. i also clear the ecu memory after every attempt. does anybody out there know whats wrong with my car or some things i can try?

Check all your wire connections, check ignitor as per service manual, and if all turns up normal try a known good DPFI computer, they are a dime a dozen

no i didnt use honda parts, its just the carquest brand... i understand the honda parts are quite expensive. i have a feeling its got to be a bad sensor or something. i de-pinned and cleaned all related connectors that i could and went through the distributor and tightened everything up. i guess i'll just try a known good distributor and if that dont fix it i'll try that with a known good ecu.
