Default Ls Motor/B16 Tranny in 91 Dx

Im planning on putting a b18a with a Y1 tranny in my 91 civic hatchback Dx. I was wondering what i need and what type of modifications i need to make it fit. I know i need mounts and i'm going to use the wiring harness that is already on the car.

You need to convert to mpfi.

Motor mounts and shift linkage. (HAsport, HCP, etc)

It is a pretty straightforward swap.

For more info search for droppedcrxsi...I believe he has a nice b series install how to.

It's already wired for MPFI.

I've heard that you have to bang out the crossmember for the motor to fit?

You need to bend the lip of the rear crossmember to clear the rear mount bracket. You also need to dent the drivers frame rail to clear the alternator or run a shorter alternator belt.

Ok bend the lip on the crossmember and get hit the frame rail to clear the alt.
