hey peoples i got a problem with my rpm meter. everytime i get in to high rpms... a little after 5500rpm right after VTEC kicks in... my rpm needle gets all crazy and moves from like 6000 to like 8000 by itself. it like wobbles and i cant tell wheres my red line to shift... is this a common problem for DAs?

 

check your engine grounds and your ignitor in you distibutor...these 2 things can cause the tach to do that

 

yeah once you eliminate fuses, etc. and u still have the problem, time to get a new rpm gauge!!!
