no its a #10 fuse not sure of the exact number slot its in.

If you look in the under dash fuse box it will be the red one closes to you on the left (if you are standing by the passenger tire )

pull it out and then put it back in.

I pulled the ecm(or ecu can't remember) and haz fuse under the hood. The haz fuse still retains the ecu codes.

might be runnin a little too high

had to get a shop to do a timing belt, rotor button(melted to the distributor on a cross country trip from east to west coast, got stuck in small town of lovelock, nv) and distributor cap. since then have replaced the distributor(burnt the coil button on the cap into the coil) but the check engine light was on before this happened. the guy that worked on it maybe bumped the timing up a little bit.

its the fuse in the engine compartment not under the dash on the passenger side strut tower there is a black box open that and pull the hazard fuse should be the one on the very top closest to you and pull if for 10 seconds that will reset the ECU

Oh crap thats what I meant. I apologize. that is not the first time i have referred to the under hood one as the underdash and I am aware they are totally different. f*ck sorry about that.

On the passenger side strut tower (underhood) there is the horseshoe black box (fusebox) open it it will be a #10a fuse. If you are standing on the side of the passenger tire it will be the one on the lower left if you are looking down at it.

Don't you have a diagram on top of the fusebox that says what's what?

I used to live in Lovelock Nevada.....ridiculous. I didn't even remember seeing a mechanic in that town.

Well maybe you haven't been back there in a long time but sure enough there was a mechanic actually 2 mechanics in town. The one I went to owned alot of stuff in town and had a towing service. Unless I'm retarded or something, I'm pretty darn sure we stopped in lovelock, nevada and had a mechanic work on my car, I still even have the receipt to prove it.

The diagrams missing, must have came off or something... Why else would I still be posting this ques...???

OMG would people get a clue or stop posting?

Does your CEL come one when the code comes on?

Does the cel come on right away or after you drive it a bit?

Most of the time the O2 code means it is running rich way before the o2 is bad. ALot of times it is working perfectly and people replace them.

you said it's blinking 1 time. Is it a short blink or a long blink??? never mentioned that. you could be thinking it's the o2 but it's actually your iat sensor. Also if your having trouble resetting the ecu....just disconnect the battery.

How long does an O2 sensor last on an overly rich car. Cuz I know a rich running engine will lead to premature o2 failure.

mm maybe over time, but the O2 is made to read the a/f ratio. The code (when it is too rich) is saying it cannot keep the reading stioch (14.7 a/f ratio)
