Default slight "murmur" when changing songs on headunit?

hello

yesterday i finished my 5 hour install, everything went well except that i cant quite remember where every screw goes -.-

anyways, that is the least of my worries at this moment.

this morning i went into my car to adjust my headunit, and i noticed a slight murmur if you will, between each track. it isnt very audible, but its there.

any idea why this is happening? i ran the RCA's down the center console, and i ran the power wire down the passenger side of the car.

any suggestions will be appreciated,

thanks

Eric

Is it there when the car is running and or when the car is not running? Do you hear it out of all the speakers? What's in your system, makes and models, and are you using the HU to run any speakers, or are you using offboard amps to drive all the speakers?
The "murmur" noies you hear, does it change in any way if you, raise or lower the volume, turn anything on or off in the car, [ lights, heater and so on] does it change in pitch or volume with the RPM of the motor? 94

If using the HU to drive the speakers is only temporary, ignore this, run a fused 12ga or 10ga wire from the batt. pos. (+) to the yellow of the HU, [cap off the wire it is hooked up to now], also run a ground 12ga or 10ga from the chassis of the HU to a good ground behind the HU, [you can use the back brace mount in the back of the HU to connect the ground wire to the HU] I guaranty SQ will improve.
