Looking for people who have actual experience with these tires. My new motor setup once done is estimated to hit the 215-230whp range. This is in a 92 hatch.

Looking at the 205/50/15 size. Is it worth picking up a set? Is traction still gonna be a major problem? I've never actually tried drag radials...just slicks.

I would suggest to get a slick or at least the 235 M/T 's because I am running those tires and I might by some freak accident be running 215hp and I still have issues hooking. Just my .02$ though. Still a decent tire none the less.

 

atleatst get the 225 width ive seen people cut 1.9's with this width but most people still arent happy with them.

 

I've gotten 2.0 60ft's on my 205's. But then again I was damn close on street tires (kumhos).

 

I for sure will invest in a nice set of slicks...however I'd like to see what I can run on dot street tires.

Would you guys recommend running a 225 on a 15x6.5 wheel?
