Do a search on here and see if someone has already talked about this engine. If not, go to hybrid.honda.org, and they have some info there.

heres the deal
there is a ZC SOHC motor,, thats what i have in my CRX,, mine runs a 14.47 n/a
how might you ask?> it was a carbed engine, i pulled that **** off and put on Fuel injection, becuase the stock ZC SOHC carb engines cam is more agressive and therefor with the fuel injection on it, overall it has more power, anyhow, i got DC 421 headers, 1.8 integra ECU with 1.8 injectors, greddy exhuast, tailor wires. this engine smokes the ZC DOHC engines, so dont fret, it is a good engine that winds up quicker than its big brother the DOHC ZC,, stock HP on the fuel injected models is 129 on the SOHC and 135 on the DOHC---both JDM specs
i hope some of my top secret CRX info helped out. later

PS i have the SI model,,,, which has the nice inhector resistor box!!

I was talking about the teg ECU for 10, not ZC for 10. I was wondering if the 86-89 Teg ECUs work, I thought only the 88-89 worked.

i got most of this info from the guy i buy my engines from (soko america) and ive done this to 4 engines so far and it puts out greater torque with this setup.its really is noticeable, ive smoked and surprised many people with my little d16,, you can make that enigne putout around 220 Hp n/a... how? heh heh heh
port and polish the intake/head,bore over the throttle body(optional), get a dope cam, higher compression pistons-13-1's
get a retuned ECU or AFC, get a adjustable cam gear and let me tell you, that little bitch for a d16 will scream like a freshman on prom night, best of all its inexpensive for all those parts. hope this tech helps you out!

BTW the 86-88 integra ECU works ONLY THE 5-speed ECU!!!!!
the automatic one wont!!!
and of course the 89-up one works as well
manual only!!!
my freind learned the hard way by buying a ECU from a automatic integra,,,,
**** didnt work, and he was out 30$
--------peace out

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly sure that the 86-87 teg ECU won't work. Isn't that motor carbed (or dual point)?

im sure the carb integra wont work,, but the integra my freind got his off of was a 87, it was fuel injected and his car is running proof that it works.

ACtually, I found the 89 today at the junkyard and stole it,

No, the 86*87 have 12 valves, so I dont think they will work.

look, ive heard like 5 different things from 5 different people as to why that ECU wont werk,, (86-87) i know for a FACT that my freinds ECU is out of a 87, yes a 87 integra, ill go and steal the friggin plate off the chassis that says the year, scan and show you all, anyhow, that one works, i dont care what others say, the engine in that car was fuel injected no vacuum advance, not TBI, i dont know which model the car was, but it works, enough said
----peace
