Default usdm or jdm front end

I think that the jdm front is awsome but, I kinda like the 98+ front a little better. Does anyone else feel the same? Do you think some people just do it cuz everyone else is doing it?

of course some people do it just because its cool. I personally like them both, but I dont like the JDM front more to spend the amount it costs to get it. Ima just stick with the stock 99 front.

That's the same I think. It just costs too much and some people buy it not knowing that they are opening a can of worms. If your paint is old you're better off just painting the whole car and the whole conversion ends up costing more than the car and when you crash you're screwed.

Yeah, this is an opinion based question, so why make a thread about it? I'm not trying to flame, man, I'm really not. But we all have different preferences when it comes to this. Try appearance/cosmetic, you'll get better responses, I promise.

BUT, to answer your question: The JDM front is different, and thats why I like it. If I lived in CA, where everyone has a JDM front Integra, and I saw them everyday... I'd more than likely change my mind.

I can't stand the JDM front. To me, it makes it look like an Accord & a lot of other cars out there that have similar looking horizontal lights. The USDM front is original, especially the headlights, because hardly any other car has 2 separate round headlights like the Integra.

yeah i had the money to do a JDM conversion after selling my turbo/motor setup. but after hours of thinking it over, i decided it's really not worth doing. i like both JDM and 99-01 front ends alike and since i've already got a 98 ITR front end, i'll just keep that. the money is better spent else where...like performance mods.

also, i'd rather not have to worry about my car being a most wanted target for thieves by putting a JDM front end on.

Its not played out here in TN, believe me.

I still like the USDM front alot, though.

As far as this car goes:

If it was a JDM Soarer with a 2JZ I'd rock it

That USDM Integra just has all the right curves to it. It looks sexy as hell. If it were a woman, I would make love to it right now.

People tend to forget how many states, and how many cities this country has. So when you calculate ratios and how many people have or have not seen an actual Integra with one on, its not as played out as people think. The fad itself might be, but the front end still looks good. Personally....I don't think it looks like an accord at all. It may seem similar, but the differences are obvious. For crying out loud....its not like its a cheap black housing headlight made by an aftermarket company to knock off a BMW headlight
Its a good looking front end, but really, you should be asking yourself this question and not other people since it is YOUR car and not ours.

It looks nice but it reminds me of an accord. The four eyes are the g3's trademark. USDM
