Default project 2.0l poormans itr opinions on cams needed

alright im starting on a build very shortly and heres the plan im looking for input on what type of cams i should use and im also wondering what type of forged rods i should use

heres the plan so far

b18c1 block
balanced crank
golden eagle sleeves
84.5mm endyn rollerwave pistons 11.74-1 - 12.34-1
forged rods (not sure on waht type yet looking for something light weight) ?
endyn modified oil pump
endyn block girdle
im going to give acl bearings a try
arp mainstuds

head
pr3 head
will have a p&p not sure by who yet any suggestion welcome
undecided on cams and valvetrain im considering m22s


thats so far what i know is going to be used im looking into an smsp header

M22s are the way to go. Hands down.

What are you using this motor for? Drag, road race?

RLZ Stage III with his headwork. Hes kind of backed up right now so if you can't wait go with Alaniz or Portflow for the headwork.

why not just reuse the gsr rods? Save some cash.

and would a 84.5mm bore give a 2.1 liter?

its kinda going to be a motor for everything including daily driving so i dont want to reuse the gsr roda cuz im gonna beat on this **** lol

84.5 mm will not give him a 2.1 if hes using the gsr stroke, but it will give him near a 2.0 at 1.95x

Most Stage 2 cams will work really well. I like the M22's myself. Just my input.

Beat me to it. Actually, all of the cams listed so far should work real well too.
