Default What Lip did I get?

I just installed a lip that I got off ebay that was suppose to be an "si" lip for a crx. Needless to say it was not because the lip doesn't not fit flush with the bumper. Anyway thought I'd share pics of the my new lip and to see if anyone knows what it came off of. Thanx

88/89 and 90/91 are different.

Easy way to tell is the 88/89 has little tabs that slide into the bumper.

I don't see ANYTHING wrong with that lip. Looks like it fits good to me.

I think it looks good. Looks like the lip on my 90 Si. How does that one mount on?

Right where it bends the lip sticks out a 1/8 of an inch. Like the lip doesn't cruve right to fit.

Well you have to take in account that the plastic that lip is made out of is probably close to 16 years old. So its probably not going ot fit like it did when it was new.

Your car looks clean though. When i had a crx it looked just like yours except black. And i had a little trouble getting my 91 lip to fit right on my 90 bumper like you did.

Take it off, heat it up a little with a cheap heat gun, and re-mount it.

It -is- the correct lip. But it's still a lip. It's never going to sit 100% flush.

Thanx for the tip SETI20. Does anyone know how to get that ugly yellow oxidation off of my headlights?

Polishing compound and silverwear polish.
That'll do the trick nicely, except if the gunk is on the inside. Then you'll need to heat the light housing (to melt the glue) and take it apart to clean it.
