Default which spark plugs to use w/ JRSC??

I just wanted to know the part number for the plugs I should be running for a JRSC on 6psi on my GSR. Can somebody please post up the part number for one step colder plugs, both platinum and iridium NGK plugs? I need to order these soon, thanks.

I did this for my turbo teg also. Just wondering, why the small gap compared to standard gap? any explanation?

Those part #'s are for the same plug, on is bkr7e one is bkr7e-11. only diff is one is pre-gapped but you will want to change that anyways.

i found some NGK BKR7EIX-11 Iridium spark plugs at a local Napa auto parts store for $9.12 each, and they can be there in one day, is that a good price? The price comes to $39.49 including tax.

shouldnt i be using at least platinum tipped plugs?...rite now i have platinum plugs for a stock setup from honda. i figure if im gonna get them, i might as well do it w/ real good plugs

does it even really make a difference between regular plugs and platinum/iridium plugs when thinking about what is better to use for the car?

and also, is it true platinum and iridium plugs are known to detonate on forced induction cars? if so, which type of plug is the best to use on my JRSC GSR setup, regular copper, platinum or iridium? thanks

Would it be safe to run iridium or platinum plugs w/ the JRSC setup? I'll go with the regular BKR7E-11, but i just want to kno if it is safe to run platinum or iridium on forced induction. I heard that platinum and iridium plugs tend to detonate, is that true? thanks for the help

They won't last as long but they work better for performance. Too much sales hype on plats or iridiums!

cool, i just went to Napa and got NGK BKR7E stock no. 6097. For some reason, he wouldnt let me buy only four, so i had to buy the box of 10 bc he doesnt stock them. Oh well, at least i wont have to go back for plugs next time...

That sounds like a scam to me just to make U spend more $$! I'd ask to speak to the Manager. Next time just go to Advance. They'll be a little cheaper there.

ya, oh well now...i cant return them bc they wont accept them back...either way, if u break it down into unit price, it cost 22 bux for the 10 plugs, so its about 2.20 for each plug...seems about right i guess

ill never give that ******* business again tho

yeh because of (sp?)porcelin. it can silent shatter/web windows, some windows will break like fine glass. and you dont really have to throw the hard, i can just flick em.

the reason why it can shatter windows like that is because it is much, much denser than window glass.
