Default Unique Turbo seal Question

Already searched around but I think this may be a somewhat unique problem. I have a t3 turbo that I drove about 200 miles from kc to stl and when it was sealed up good at the mani I could reach .44 bar. I ended up buying a sfp mani to seal it up good and now I cant seem to get it to boost more than .33 bar! I have been reading to see if my turbo seals are done but it just dosent make sense to me due the fact that 200 miles ago it could build more boost and actually open up the wastegate! WTF, what happens is when I get to about 5k it climbs really really really slow and won’t break .33 bar, there is a little oil in the down pipe which I know is bad. I am planning on getting a oil line restrictor valve but do you guys think that will do the trick? You ideas and thoughts are appreciated, Dammit I want boost!

My guess:

You have a 0.33 bar spring on the wastegate and the .44 you were making before was stable boost creep.

i dont think that is it because i dont here the wastegate open at the .33, and that wouldent explain why it climbs so slow up top

in my opinion your problem isn't manifold seal or a turbo seal. i have the same exact effects, i thought my seal was bad between manifold and turbo but that wouldn't cause a boost leak, its not charged with pressure. the turbo seal is in the back as well, even though it does leak oil its not going to become a boost leak. your problem could be hidden vacuum leaks, leaky pipes, leaky gaskets after the turbo, etc. pressure check your system would be your best bet. its a FREE mod and can tell you a lot. also where is your wastegate line run from? turbo compressor housing, hot pipe, im?

Maybe you have a boost leak?

Did you check all of your couplers for leaks?

What about your turbo inlet? Do you have a filter of some sort on there? When I first put my turbo on I put a screen and a piece of fleece over the turbo inlet and it didn't alow enough air to get by for full spool so it would spool slowly and I wouldn't reach full boost... took the fleece off and the problem was fixed.

P.S. I really doubt your seals would cause these symptoms. If your seals are shot the turbo would still boost but oil would be spraying out into your intercooler, downpipe, or both. Unless your bearings are so worn that there is enough shaft play to allow the wheels to contact the housings, that would for sure slow them down. But I hope that's not the case, if it is, then it's time for a new turbo.

UPDATE,

"where is your wastegate line run from? turbo compressor housing, hot pipe, im?"

Its from the IM, and i took of the "filter" that i had on the intake and it seemed to help. However i still can reach .4 bar, the most i can reach is around .37 and recently its decreasing which makes me think that there is a leak geting bigger somewhere that i need to find

pressure test time chances are your leak is before the intake manifold as your pressure is stopping at .37 meaning not even .40 pressure is reaching your manifold.
