HeadGasket Replacement. Few Questions
OK my headgasket went on my b16a. And my intake cam seal started to leak at the same time. This is going to be the 2nd headgasket I replaced, but the first time it blew I think it was really a cam seal leaking rather then the headgasket, wish I would have seen that before. Well after 4 months of driving with no signs of headgakset trouble I noticed its leaking by #1 onto the header. Last time it looked to be leaking right next to the timing belt cover but I now think that it was due to the cam seal, but it also looked liek someone took a layer off the stock gasket as well so this was also thought to be a reason for the first leak. Anyway, this time I seem to think that it blew due to reusing the old head studs. This time im getting a complete head rebuild kit and arp studs. What I need to know is should I get my head milled or anything? I never had a problem with it overheating or smoking out the exhaust. So I dont see how it could have warped or anything.
What do you guys think I should do?

By the way, the cylinder by the valve cover, is #1, not #4.
I've done it both ways, replaceing it without milling and with. I've had no problems every time I've done it. I've used ARP and stock honda studs with no problems yet. Take your time and read a helms if available.

I thought all the cylinders were equal distance to the valve cover
Like i told u before, i don't think your gonna need to mill it. Machine work gets addicting, first it'll be a mill, then 3 angle valve job, then port and polish, then upgraded springs and retainers. then soon you'll have a fully built head. just get a new gasket and the studs.
